Our Approach
Rivr Designs is a healthy blend of fine line art and thought provoking concepts influenced by those soul quenching moments and simple pleasures in life. Through our designs, we aim to translate a gentle reminder to chase the authentic and live true to the you that you are.
Curated on the west coast shores of Perth, we’ve established a range of relaxed tees to compliment your coastal surroundings and nomadic lifestyle. We use only the finest fabrics, sourcing 100% combed cotton and organic fibers where possible. Our designs are carefully hand drawn in our home studio by designer, Mahaylia herself. We are stoked to say our Tees are hand printed locally in Scarborough Beach, Western Australia. We aim to supply an ideal batch of wardrobe staples for the ocean dwellers and seekers of life.
our roots
As a rivr runs surely to the sea, the ocean is our muse and the roots of our story. Rivr designs is a two man show, Mahaylia (River) and James, a pair originally from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. With a background in Graphic Design, Rivr is an extension of Mahaylia herself, an ocean loving, barefoot, nomadic designer with a thirst against the grain. Since jumping on board the van life movement in 2015, our deep desire for simple living fast evolved and the gap for good quality threads certainly surfaced. When every hidey hole is jam packed with boards, food, pots and fishing gear it was obvious that space was slim and quality wardrobe staples is a must. The type that would sort you out for every occasion, from the road to the ocean, the mountains to the pub. A selection of tees that speak style and source quality, all year round. Fast forward to 2019, we are excited to say Rivr Designs was born. A healthy batch of threads, full of life and ready for your every adventure.
